About Joseph Federico
In addition to his work on NJMET’s flagship technologies, Joseph Federico operates as an integral member of the company’s executive management team. A results-driven leader, Joseph Federico serves as the Vice President and Director of Operations. In these capacities, Joseph Federico works diligently to streamline effective growth strategies to meet overarching business objectives. Since joining the Clifton, N.J.-based NJMET team in 1978, Joseph Federico has led global expansion efforts, opening additional offices in California, Colorado, and the United Kingdom.
Joseph also heads up the marketing and public relations efforts for NJ MET. He keeps NJ MET's customers and friends up to date on developments in the industry with a periodic newsletter from NJ MET. Additionally, he spearheads the charitable activities for the company. NJMET has awarded a scholarship each of the past 12 years to a high school graduate interested in the engineering, science and technologies fields. Joseph Federico and NJ MET's employees have run holiday toy drives,
food drives, fundrainising bus trips, steak dinners and have
participated in walks for charities as varied as the
American Red Cross
Tsunami Relief Fund ,
MS Walk, Eva's Village
Tomorrow's Children Fund at Hackensack Univeristy Medical

Joseph Federico also plays a role in the mentoring of youth in and around his hometown of Wayne, New Jersey. For a number of years, Joseph Federico has served as coach for school basketball, softball, and soccer teams. For over 18 years, Joseph Federico has been a spiritual guide to Catholic children in the role of Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Instructor.
Joe earned an Associates Degree from the
Metropolitan Technical Institute and continued his education earning
a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at
Fairleigh Dickenson University.
Joseph Federico holds a number of professional designations though
his work at NJMET. Joseph Federico is a member of the Institute of
Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), SAE International, the
Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP), and the American
Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), to name a few. Through
Joseph Federico’s efforts, NJMET has been found to be DSCC-VQC
Lab Suitable by the Defense Supply Center Columbus and holds
